Everyone, everywhere, has been talking about the future of work, but with little realisation that the world has hit the reset button in several existing sectors and hitherto ways. New will be the norm. And that will require Creativity, not just cleverness, from people who we don’t much encounter or understand.

Hence this non-prescriptive app, to assess the creativity in any person, and, in the process, to add to our understanding of creativity and what it entails. It could be of use in hiring & staffing for creative positions, or in choosing academics & careers in creative fields.

Recover(k)ey, is, as the name suggests, like a key to recovery. Put out there, in May-June 2020, it was an app for anyone to assess if their organisation or institution or entity was suitable and ready to restart operations.

LOGOMOTIVES :

“Kids do as the parents do, and not as the parents say.” But we do have things to say, more than we can credibly demonstrate! What about that? And, what also, of the things we have learned from people better than ourselves?

So, I hit upon an idea of writing brief life-lessons and embellishing those with imaginary logo-designs. Together, these could serve as ‘logomotives’ to power the lives of my daughters as well as other teens and young adults like them. Hopefully :-)

A REVIVAL SKETCHBOOK :

With all the negativity around, it was imperative to do something entertaining and productive. So what began as random musings and associated caricatures, quickly turned into a revival guide for the much ravaged travel, tourism & hospitality sectors. Which could also inform the efforts at other troubled sectors or companies.

PUI-AMMA Says … :

While there was tons of knowledge and information about the Covid-19 pandemic, there were some important things, that I felt, were either unsaid, or were lost in the din and clutter.

So, this caricature series, in the voice of PUI-AMMA, the protagonist, fondly fashioned after my wife Poornima :-)

BULL-DOZING :

Like a fool, I had, for all this while, stayed determinedly away from the Indian stock market. During the pandemic, one of my goals was to get savvier about and participate in this space. Even if it was with subdued fervour.

This is a collection, born out of a newbie’s learnings and realisations. The cartoons in the series are all fashioned in my image.
